Best value laptop & why? (DOUBLE POINTS)?

Must be between: AU$1200 - AU$1500 Only these brands: Fujutsu, HP, Asus, Acer, Toshiba Must have: Intel Core Duo Processor (Centrino) Which brands have more problems associated with them? Please give source of information regarding the comparison of the above brands.

2. hp or toshiba Asus is an excellent Mobo manufacturer, but I was not aware that they made complete laptop systems I own a HP, have a friend that owns a toshiba Sony is also a very good computer. probably wouldnt go with fujitsu or acer Unless acer has changed, they are not worth much more than e-machines

4. I would recomend Acer Aspire 5670 or their TravelMate series. Acer has come back from the brink in the '90s and Started to make good systems. I had an Acer Travelmate 739TLV for 6 years before buying an Aspire 3620 series laptop to run Windows Vista on. Also, Acer never puts any software you don't need on their laptop, too; plus they have excellent tech support.
