Intel Computer

core2 duo comparison question?

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7250 (2MB cache/2.0GHz/800Mhz FSB) vs Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7500 (4MB cache/2.2GHz/800Mhz FSB) the difference in the laptop I'm pricing is $200 so I can do what I was originally going to do which is get 4gb ram and the 2.0ghz processor or if it's going to mean a much better processor and if it's worth it I would get 2gb ram (knowing I can upgrade later when ram prices go down) and get the higher processor what do you guys think I will be doing photoediting on it and the graphics card is an nvidia 128mb

  1. Good idea, go with the higher processor and wait for the RAM price to drop.
  2. it depends on what you use the computer for if you do alot of pics and music your going to want the bigger processor and more ram but if you are just using it to type repots and connect to the internet it doesnt matter because either one will do it.
  3. For what most people would use it for I would go with the T7250 and get 2 gig of Ram as that should be plenty. You could also maybe get a better video card for the money.
  4. I say always go with higher processor
