What is the difference between Intel Core Duo and Intel Core 2 Duo Processor? Any comparison chart?

- The core 2 duo is much, much faster than the core duo. This is because the core 2 duo had 2 cores. This basically means, in short terms, that it is one PHYSICAL processer , but VIRTUALLY the power of 2 processors. This makes multi tasking much faster. - Well... Intel Core 2 Duo Processor is newer than Intel Core Duo, So it has less problems, if any.
- they are just the samething just a newer more improved version of the core duo.
