Which is a better laptop procesor? Intel centrino duo or AMD turion 64 X2?

1. intel centrino duo. it have better performance than AMD turion.
2. The AMD Turion X2 beats the outdated Centrino (Pentium M). But the Core 2 Duo (newest from Intel) blows away everything else. Here's how I would rank them in terms of overall performance with 1 being the best: 1. Intel Core 2 Duo 2. Intel Core Duo 3. AMD Turion X2 4. Intel Pentium M (the original Centrino) 5. AMD Turion 6. Intel Pentium 4M If you see the label Centrino Duo, it can be misleading. That label doesn't tell you if it's a Core 2 Duo or the older Core Duo. When it comes to price, the Turion X2 is a good alternative to the more expensive Core Duo and Core 2 Duo. However, keep in mind that prices have dropped dramatically on both sides of the fence. You can get a decent Core 2 Duo laptop these days for under $800. As for battery life, the Core 2 Duo and AMD Turion X2 are almost equal. I'd still give Intel the edge here, though just by a bit.
