Which processor is better...Intel Core Duo T2050 or AMD Turion X2 TL-50? or are they similar in performance?

Which processor is superior and overall which system is superior? Thanks!!!

1. I like AMD personally.
2. At equal clock speeds, as in this case, the Intels have proven to be a better processor. However, the majority of users will never use the full power of either of these processors. And there are other things to consider with these two machines. The Intel graphics in the Toshiba are rubbish, whilst you'll be able to do some light 3D work with the HP. My recommendation is the HP.
3. Intel core 2 duo is the latest now. They claim to be more energy saving,(longer battery life) better performance (less heat)and 30% faster . so what are you waiting for? select the T5 series or the T7 series depending on the clock speed.
