Intel Computer

does Intel produces any 64 bit processor, i always choose a best ans?

i think only AMD had athleon 64 bit dual core, so is it wise to have a notebook with that processor? compaq CQ45 112AV is a notebook which have this processor, if any1 could know please tell me about the disadvantages that i will have in comparison to Intel dual core if i purchase this notebook, thank you in advance.

1. all the Intel Core 2 Duo/Quad are 64 bit processors the AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core Processor QL series are low end cpu's like e.g. the Intel T3200/T3400. the L2-cache is little with 1MB, but this is characteristic for budget processors.
2. All of the Core duos or Quad Cores are 64 bit.
