help me make a choice(processor)?
Ok i need a good processor, good for overclocking and for gaming ok i got a list here.. which is better..? AMD phenom 9950 Black Edition (quad core) AMD Athlon x2 6400+ (dual core) Intel core 2 duo E8500 ( i heard E8600 slower than E8500 o_o is it true? ) i need help lol.. hoping for good 1... and if possible, provide me the evidence that shows the comparison between those processors.. thanks =)

- Intel core 2 duo E8500 evidence is....go to the intel website: www.intel.com the core 2 duo would be a better processor since it is energy efficient (accdg to intel) or it uses less power, it is built on a smaller form factor 90-45 nm, and produces less heat thus making it a good overclocking and gaming processor.
- Use comparison charts such as: http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/cpu-charts-2008-q1-2008/3D-Studio-Max-9,369.html Personally, I would go with the 8500. I don't know if the 8600 is slower, but I don't think the jump in price would be worth it even if its just slightly faster.
