Some computer component comparison questions (this ones kinda long, sorry)?

im stuck between 2 rly good computers and i need help finding out which one is better. instead of copying-and-pasting each entire summary here to leave you reading both for the next hour, i'll just ask which is better of specific components... - PROCESSOR: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.5GHz (1333MHz FSB) (6MB Cache) vs. AMD Phenom X4 9950 Black Edition Quad Core w/ HyperTransport - MOTHERBOARD: NVIDIA 680i LT SLI Core 2 Quad (Chipset: nForce 680i SLI) vs. Asus M3A79-T Deluxe 790FX CrossFire Chipset with Quad PCIE slot DDR2/1066 SATA RAID MB w/GbLAN, USB2.0, IEEE1394, & 7.1 Audio - MEMORY: 8GB DDR2 800MHz Corsair XMS2 vs. 8GB (4x2GB) PC6400 DDR2/800 Dual Channel Memory (Corsair or major brand) - last question is... what's the best brand for a monitor? thnx for your time!

  1. PROCESSOR: I have heard good things about the Phenom processors but I have not used one myself. MOTHERBOARD: nvidia MEMORY: dual channel can be a pain when you want to up grade so i would go with the first
  2. I think the first one is better... Get any monitor, what's the purpose of the machine? If its for gaming and/or editing work then I would suggest a monitor bigger then 17 inch...
