HP notebook comparison?
between hp notebook 6515b and 6520s, which 1 do you think is better. despite of its processor difference. 6515b is a AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Processor TL-60 (2.0-GHz), and 6520s is a Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5670 (1.80-GHz, 800-MHz FSB, 2-MB L2 cache). the price diff is not much, so i seriously need help on comparison on the specs...

- love AMD chips no surprises like intel chips that don't do math [years ago]
- I'd go with the Intel. I have a dvs6810 that has AMD and it doesn't boot as fast as I'd like it to. Also the Intels are usually more expensive so that's an indicator of quality in my book.
- 6515b has 120GB while 6520s has 160GB. . . 6515b has ATI Radeon X1250 while 6520s has Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100. . .(X3100 is better in this case. . .) 6515b has Broadcom 4321AGN while 6520s has Wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g. . .(AGN is better because of the "n" draft. . .it's faster. . .) I believe 6515b has 3 year warranty while 6520s has a 1 year warranty. . . If I were you. . .I would go for 6520s for the better specs, but if you want the better warranty. . .go for 6515b. . . 6520s has a better performance than 6515b and probably has a better battery life as well. . .
- I think the 1st one is better higher Ghz but the way i see it you can't go wrong with either one.I owe two hp pavilion and i love them.HP makes a awesome notebook.So good luck on your selection.Enjoy your new laptop when you get it.Cheer's.
