In comparison which is better "Intel core2quad" or "AMD quad core processor? ?

1. Intel Core 2 Quad in general is much better. intel right now is pretty much beating AMD in all aspects. Core 2 Quads are VERy overclockable. you should get a Q6600.
2. Better in what way? AMD's design is more of a "true" quad-core, their engineering is more elegant but that's on paper. In real-world performance the Intel quads are faster performers. They also use less energy, run cooler and overclock better than AMD quad-cores. The Core 2 quad Q6600 is the lowest-end model of Intel's quad-core line - I'd recommend a newer 45nm model like the Q9450, if your budget allows it.
